• They are devices for the elastic installation of industrial machines subject to vibrations.
• They consist of a rubber section with two parallel metal structures at the ends which enable the fixing by means of threaded screws, as in type I or by threaded studs, as in type E or by a combination of both fixing types, as in the model EI.
• Their elasticity is much greater in all directions parallel to the metal parts than in the perpendicular direction.
• According to the direction they are fitted in, the rubber works by compression or shear. Therefore the fitting shall be carried out according to the selected mount, by fixing one side of the anti-vibration mount to the base structure and the other side to the machine to be isolated.
• They are particularly suitable for isolating machines that generate vibrations perpendicular to their axes.
